Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by HWM Hollywood Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our masonry services in Hollywood, FL and surrounding areas.
Services Description
HWM Hollywood Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney services, tuckpointing, stone patios, retaining walls, and related construction work. All services are provided subject to availability and at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Specific details regarding the scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing will be outlined in individual project contracts or estimates. Those agreements take precedence over these general terms for the specific work described.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection and represent our best assessment of the work required. Final pricing may vary if additional issues are discovered during the course of work or if the scope changes at your request. We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with additional work.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. After this period, pricing may be subject to change due to material cost fluctuations or other factors beyond our control.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in your project contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins and final payment upon completion. We accept various payment methods as agreed upon before the start of work. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as allowed by law.
Scheduling and Delays
We make every effort to complete your project within the estimated timeline. However, factors such as weather conditions, material availability, permit delays, and unforeseen site conditions may affect the schedule. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the work site during normal business hours. If access is restricted or unavailable, project timelines may be extended accordingly.
Warranty and Liability
We stand behind the quality of our work and materials. Specific warranty terms will be provided in your project contract. Our warranty typically covers workmanship and materials for a specified period, subject to proper maintenance and normal use.
Our liability is limited to the cost of correcting defective work covered under warranty. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. As a fully insured contractor, we carry appropriate liability insurance to protect you and your property during construction.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for clearly communicating your expectations and requirements before work begins. You should also notify us promptly of any concerns during the project. It is your responsibility to secure any necessary homeowner association approvals or easements required for the work.
You agree to protect and not disturb any materials, equipment, or work in progress at the job site. Any damage to our property or work caused by parties other than our employees is your responsibility.
Permits and Compliance
When required, we will obtain necessary permits for your project. Permit costs are typically included in your estimate or billed separately as specified in your contract. All work is performed in accordance with local building codes and regulations in Hollywood, FL.
Changes and Cancellations
If you wish to make changes to the scope of work after signing a contract, we will provide a written change order with any price adjustments. Both parties must agree to changes before we proceed with modified work.
If you cancel a project after work has begun, you are responsible for payment for all work completed and materials purchased up to the point of cancellation, plus reasonable overhead and profit.
Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and professionally. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can work toward a mutually acceptable solution. If we cannot resolve the issue informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
Intellectual Property
All designs, estimates, and plans we create remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You receive a license to use these materials for your specific project but may not reproduce or distribute them without our permission.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
